Creator and cornerstone of The Coaching Team, David has been specialising in people development for over 20 years. His work involves creating and facilitating team, leadership and individual development programmes throughout the world. His coaching, both strategically and operationally, has enabled many businesses to achieve significant results through enhancing the energy and capabilities of their people. He works with an array of organisations, supporting them on either a company wide basis, working with a specific team or coaching individuals.

David’s career started in the Army, based in the Far East serving with the Gurkhas. He completed a variety of roles from the recruitment and training of soldiers in Nepal and Hong Kong, to representing the United Nations in South Korea. This time gave him valuable insight in how to engage, lead and motivate people in a multi‐cultural environment.

David then moved into the training and hospitality industry, where as a Director with Style Conferences Limited he led a variety of teams in supporting organisations such as Xerox and British Airways in operating their corporate training centres. Here, he developed a sound understanding of business development and leading change; Style Conferences enjoyed extensive growth prior to being acquired by the Rentokil Initial Group and then De Vere Venues.

David set up THE COACHING TEAM specifically to bring together an inspirational group of achievers who he believes can consistently inspire peak performance in others.
