James is COO of Patria Global Private Market Solutions based in Edinburgh. Patria GPMS manage circa $10bn AUM providing fund of fund private equity solutions for clients across a range of primary, secondary and coinvestment capabilities. Focusing on the European and US middle market Patria GPMS form a key part of Patria Investments, LatAm’s leading alternative investment manager, who manage over $40 bn across a range of private equity, infrastructure, real estate and credit strategies. Prior to the acquisition by Patria, James was COO of abrdn’s Private Equity business with a number of previous roles including abrdn investment’s Chief of Staff and leading large change programmes across abrdn.
