entities. An experienced private equity finance and administration executive with 32 years in the
industry, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Barclays Private
Equity (“BPE”) for six years prior to joining Helios in May 2008, and previously as Director, Head of
Finance & Product Control Projects at Barclays Capital. His responsibilities included the reporting
and administration of various managed funds as well as internal reporting / administration for
BPE’s proprietary business. Mr Cunningham is Chairman of the International Private Equity and
Venture Capital Valuation Guidelines (“IPEV”) Board. Prior to joining Barclays, he worked within
the finance functions of various major investment banks, including Deutsche Bank and Credit
Suisse, since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Whinney in 1989. He graduated
with a BS (Hons) in Mathematics from Imperial College.

Before joining Dawn, Raxita was a CFO of a Fintech group called TruFin plc. Raxita was instrumental in taking the group to IPO on AIM raising £70m of proceeds. Prior to TruFin, Raxita has held senior finance roles at Inflexion Private Equity and before that Oakley Capital Private Equity.
Raxita qualified as a chartered accountant with BDO and has a Civil Engineering degree from Cardiff University.

Prior to joining Permira Credit, Shakeeb spent nine years at Citigroup, most recently within the Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities Markets Product Compliance team. Shakeeb has also held a variety of operations and business management roles at both Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley
Ryan is a regular speaker at conferences across Europe and is part of several industry working groups and trade organisations. Most notably, Ryan was a contributing author to the AIMA Guide to Sound Practices for Hedge Fund Valuation, and is a member of Invest Europe’s Working Group on Accounting Standards, Valuation and Reporting.
Prior to joining Pemberton in 2022, Matthew was a founding member of Apollo’s European Private Credit team, where he focused on the origination and execution of investments in support of mid-market Private Equity backed transactions. Previously, Matthew was a Director at both Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe and GE Capital in their respective Leveraged Finance teams.
Matthew holds a BA (Hons) in Business and Finance from Oxford Brookes University and a BSc in Financial Services from the University of Manchester.
Kirsty qualified as a chartered accountant with EY in Guernsey before spending some time in New York with PwC and ultimately settling in London.
